Mandate
Succession transfer · 2015
The trade journal “Baugewerbe” featured a succession model advised by Fischer | Konrad, showing how a clear strategy and forward planning can lead to a successful handover of a business.
When Heinrich Westermann, founder of Schaltanlagenbau GmbH H. Westermann in Minden (East Westphalia–Lippe), fell ill in 2011, the long-serving technical director Heinz-Dieter Finke – at the company since 2002 – gradually took on greater responsibility. The solution: a dual leadership of candidates from within the company, with the workforce’s trust, securing continuity of the business.
